In January 2022, after selling her successful eCommerce business, Daina Lindsay founded Media Salt. What began as a solo venture quickly gained traction when Daina was approached by a group of passionate startup brands seeking support with marketing, social media management, and influencer campaigns. Through word of mouth and genuine results, Media Salt began to grow organically, becoming a trusted partner for emerging businesses.
Media Salt truly hit its stride in 2023. With a growing client base and a string of exciting influencer campaigns under our belt, we expanded our services and began managing talented creators. The business evolved from a boutique operation into a go-to agency for brands and agencies alike, for influencer marketing campaign management.
By 2024, the growth was exponential. To meet the demand, Dan Lindsay, Daina’s husband, joined Media Salt as General Manager, bringing fresh perspective, operational expertise, and strategic leadership. Under his guidance, we welcomed some of Adelaide’s most iconic brands to our client portfolio and delivered standout influencer marketing campaigns. It was a pivotal year, one defined by momentum, maturity, and sharpening our niche.
In 2025, Media Salt continued to grow from strength to strength. With a loyal client roster and a talented, passionate team behind us, we entered a new phase of evolution. To meet the increasing demand for influencer marketing and talent representation, we proudly launched our sister agency, Creator HQ. This bold new chapter allows Media Salt to focus on what we do best, strategy, content, and digital marketing, while Creator HQ takes the lead on influencer marketing campaigns and UGC.
Daina has a passion for building brands and finding clever ways to form strong emotional connections with the community around them. As a seasoned marketing and media sales professional, with over 15 years of experience, Daina has a diverse skill set. Daina is not just a marketer but also a successful e-commerce business owner. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish and nurture a thriving e-commerce enterprise in 2017, PONO Probiotics, which became a testament to her ability to translate marketing prowess into tangible business success, such as getting the product stocked in Free People in the USA, and her story published in many editorial’s such as Steph Adams and Samantha Brett’s book The Juggle, Inspirational stories from mums juggling it all, eventually selling her business in 2021. This venture allowed Daina to gain firsthand experience in the intricacies of running a profitable online business.
